This 2007 season will be interesting because....
Where We Go ... These workshops are in the field...we meet at designated locations.
The "In The City" workshops are in the Chicago downtown area. The city is filled with potential for any type of photography or photography project...people, architecture, flowers, statues, churches, etc. The available interests are endless...
The "In The Forest Preserve" workshops are filled with nature opportunities - landscapes, flowers, gardens, natural portraits, animals and people.
What We Will Do... To get the creative juices flowing, each student will receive 4 photographs which were created by Christoph at the location. He will then assign 3 "scenes" and discuss how to "see" the objectives. Photographers will create each assignment with his/her own artistic vision.
Christoph will look through each viewfinder and guide individual students through the process of framing for best composition, so that the goal of every photo is masterfully attained by each photographer.
Once the assignments are completed, photographers will choose 3 of their own "field portraits," again under the watchful eye of Christoph.
It's fun, it's friendly, its open discussions. Everyone exchanges ideas and gives support.
About the Workshop... Morning workshops start at 8 AM and end at Noon. Afternoon workshops start at 1 PM and end at 5 PM.
